Suds Of Love
Small Essentials, Big Impact
Have you ever considered how much a simple load of laundry or a stick of deodorant can change a person's day? On April 9, CCNSC welcomes Tina Bowen, Founder, Suds of Love, a North Carolina-based mobile laundry and hygiene service dedicated to serving our unhoused neighbors.
Tina will share the journey of "Miss Dorothy," her 30-foot mobile unit that brings dignity to our unhoused neighbors through hot showers and laundry services across our local North Carolina counties. From disaster relief to supporting local schools, Tina’s mission is about more than just cleaning clothes—it’s about providing comfort and compassion to those who need it most.
Special Collection: Tina has shared that deodorant is currently a high-need item for their hygiene kits. We’re asking every member to consider bringing a new stick (men’s or women’s from the Dollar store) to the meeting. It’s a small item that makes a massive difference in the comfort and dignity of the neighbors Suds of Love serves every day.
Don’t miss this chance to hear from a local leader making a massive difference!
